I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had the energy to come on here to update my site with my life!
So… Where do I begin?
Let’s start with my book!
My romantic suspense has been out in the world for three months now, and while it’s taking a lot longer than I expected for my debut to find it’s readers, I’m still so happy it’s out in the world, and that it’s available in all formats! Accessibility matters to me, so that was so important!
📚 Books two and three are well underway!
I’ve been trying to make sure the flow is right, before I begin edits and audio recordings for book two, and I have so many things happening in this story that I love so much, so it’s taking a while to solidify what should be in two, and what I should move to three… or four. lol. I love these characters and the world I’ve created so much, but I can’t believe I have as many ideas for it as I do!
I’ll do my best not to drag it, though. I am not going to let it go forever.
…at least I don’t plan to. 😉
I’ve been learning to draw on my phone, with procreate pocket and a stylus, and while it ain’t perfect, it’s so cool to see my progress! I’m going to invest in a new iPad soon, so I can get serious, because I actually love it.
also, know that I will not use genAI for a single thing in relation to my work. that’s a cheap, ugly, stupid choice, and I’m not that girl. 💁🏾♀️

What else should I share?
Okay so most people are completely unaware of this, but I’ve returned to school! 🤓
I was terrified about this, but it was something that felt right for the time, and in so many ways, I’ve received so much confirmation that it is exactly the right time.
I’ll share some of those things at a later time, though. it’s definitely a lot.
😌 Constant reminders of being on the right track, are my favorite. That’s another reason why I always keep going.
I will say that I’m very proud of myself, and I am looking forward to the beautiful things that will come out of me learning more, as I go through this little life of mine.
I was honestly expecting to feel inadequately prepared for school after all this time—and in this new reality—but I’ve been doing incredibly well!
I’m a straight A student… naturally. lol
I have been trying to better manage my time.
Caring for my nana, being an author, working on all the things I’m working on (many secret projects, but they’ll start to come out soon! like school!), being a “sick” person, and just existing in this US of A, has been quite exhausting.
I will always do my best to be my best, though.
I’m so incredibly hopeful for so many things in life, and I look forward to documenting them all!
